- Live online webinars presented on Zoom, and recordings of webinar sessions;

3. Price and payment
- Fees are shown per delegate (or per purchase for recordings) on the programme and registration pages, excluding VAT. VAT at the applicable rate is added and the full amount including VAT is shown before you submit a registration.
- There are no delivery or transport charges. Delegates are responsible for their own travel to seminar venues and their own internet connection for webinars.
- When you register online you receive a pro-forma invoice by email with our banking details. Payment is by electronic funds transfer (EFT). We do not accept card payments on this website and do not collect card details.
- Seats are limited and allocated on a first-paid basis. A booking is confirmed once payment reflects in our account, after which a tax invoice is issued.
4. Delivery of services
Seminars and webinars are presented on the dates and at the times and venues shown at registration. Joining links for webinars, and certificates of attendance, are sent to the delegate email addresses provided. Recordings are sent to the billing email address after the final live session. If a date or venue changes, registered delegates are notified by email.
5. Terms of agreement
Bookings are subject to our Website Terms and Conditions, which you can view, download, print and save from this website at any time. The registration confirmation and invoices emailed to you serve as your record of the transaction. You may request a copy of your transaction record at any time by email.
6. Cancellation, cooling-off and refunds
Under section 44 of the ECT Act, a consumer may cancel a transaction for services without reason and without penalty within seven days after concluding the agreement, and any payment made will be refunded within 30 days of cancellation. In terms of section 42(2), this cooling-off right does not apply where the services have begun with the consumer's consent before the end of the seven-day period.
To cancel, email marais@assentcompliance.co.za with your invoice number. Cancellations after the cooling-off period are dealt with as set out in our Website Terms and Conditions.
7. Security and privacy
This website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We do not process card payments on this website. Personal information is processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013, as set out in our Disclaimer and Privacy Policy (Section 18 POPIA Privacy Notification). Our Section 51 PAIA manual explains how to request access to records.
8. Disputes
Please contact us first by email or telephone if you have a complaint, and we will try to resolve it promptly. Assent Compliance does not subscribe to an alternative dispute resolution code. Consumers may also approach the National Consumer Commission or the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud where the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 applies.
9. Consumer rights
Nothing on this page limits the rights of consumers under section 44 of the ECT Act or under the Consumer Protection Act. If we do not comply with section 43, you may cancel the transaction within 14 days of receiving the services, as provided in section 43(3) of the ECT Act.
